Cedar Keys

We had a picnic at the Cedar Keys which is about a 45 min. drive West on the Gulf Coast. This is where Isaac caught his shark. It was fun to walk around the little town, take some pictures, eat our picnic and relax watching and listening to the ocean. The kids also had fun playing on playground.

Sophie turns 2 @ the beach

Happy 2nd Birthday Sophie!

June 23, 2010
Wow, my baby turns two. I can't believe it! We celebrated her birthday with our first family beach trip in Florida, we went to Cresent Beach on the Atlantic coast. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoy the nice weather and the fun in the water. However, we didn't go deeper then knee high in the water . . . Isaac had caught a shark the night before from a pier! (post yet to come) Sophie loved running in the water and jumping over the waves. She has been talking more and more and has really grown up over the past few months, during the move. She is now sleeping in a big girl bed and eats without a high chair. She is constantly saying "EmmA" and following her older sister around; she likes to cuddle with her. The way she says Isaac's name is really cute "I Zak" she usually tries to play the wii with him. She also likes to dance, swim, drink FLAVORED milk, be held by Mommy and Daddy. But. . .her "two" favorite things are ELMO and GUM! She wakes up saying ELMO, ELMO holding her hands up palms upward in front of the T.V. her way of telling me she wants to watch ELMO. And she is constantly asking for gum, whenever she sees my purse she says gum, gum, gum, gum until a piece magically appears in her mouth. . . .and then 5 minutes later she is asking for more. . .gum, gum, gum, gum! We love you Sophie, we are so glad you are a part of our family, Happy Birthday!
